Our Editorial Charter

In an era dominated by rapid wire duplication and algorithmically boosted controversies, Prutdyx allocates weeks and months to single investigative files. We measure our impact not by pageviews or social virality, but by the legal and evidentiary solidity of our reporting.

Our bureau adheres to the highest tenets of Canadian investigative journalism:

• Zero Corporate Patronage: We accept no money from corporations, lobbying coalitions, political parties, or government advertising programs.
• Primary Record Primacy: Every core assertion must be anchored in verified documentary evidence, audited financial disclosures, or corroborated sworn statements.
• Mandatory Right of Reply: Subjects of critical investigation receive detailed written questions with at least 72 hours to furnish explanations before publication.
• Transparent Corrections: We never quietly alter past dispatches. If a factual statement requires modification, a prominent note is appended detailing the update.

Conflict of Interest Policy

Reporters and editorial staff at Prutdyx are strictly prohibited from holding commercial equities in industries they cover, accepting paid honorariums from political or lobbying groups, or engaging in public advocacy campaigns.

Whenever an investigative subject has made a public donation to our subscriber pool, that fact is explicitly disclosed alongside the reporting. Editorial staff have no insight into individual reader subscription records.
